About the roleÂ
The Account Director role at Orion Global Solutions drives business growth by identifying opportunities and nurturing customer relationships. The ideal candidate has a solid sales and customer service background within the Salesforce ecosystem. The primary objective is identifying potential opportunities with prospects and new clients, cultivating these into profitable, long-term relationships.Â

What your day looks likeÂ
As a hunter-minded sales professional, you’ll focus on identifying, engaging, and closing new business opportunities in the Salesforce consulting space. Your day-to-day will include:Â
- Proactively generate and pursue new business through outbound outreach, networking, event follow-ups, and strategic prospectingÂ
- Build and nurture relationships with Salesforce Account Executives and other ecosystem partners to uncover and develop qualified leadsÂ
- Engage potential clients through discovery sessions to understand their challenges and position Orion’s solutions strategicallyÂ
- Communicate the value of the Salesforce platform in a way that aligns with each prospect’s business goals and prioritiesÂ
- Develop and execute pursuit strategies and account plans in collaboration with Orion’s industry and service teamsÂ
- Partner closely with the Solution Delivery team to define client objectives and tailor solution proposalsÂ
- Own the full sales cycle—from lead generation and relationship building to proposals, contract negotiation, and closeÂ
- Forecast accurately, maintain a strong sales pipeline, and coordinate staffing needs with project teams to ensure successful deliveryÂ
- Build trust with clients and internal stakeholders, creatively addressing objections and navigating complex decision-making cyclesÂ
- Represent Orion at Salesforce and industry events to drive new opportunities and strengthen our brand presenceÂ
- Model cross-functional collaboration and serve as a trusted partner to both clients and internal teamsÂ
- Attend weekly team meetings, one-on-one meetings, and sales pipeline meetings for updates.Â

- Ability to creatively communicate complex solutions in a way that resonates with clientsÂ
- Confidence leading teams and navigating multi-stakeholder, solution-oriented sales cyclesÂ
- Strong communicator and persuasive storyteller—able to influence at all levelsÂ
- Highly organized, proactive, and skilled at managing competing prioritiesÂ
- Comfortable in a high-energy environment and motivated by challenge and opportunityÂ
- A self-starter mindset with a bias toward action and strong follow-throughÂ
- Proficiency with Salesforce CRM to manage pipeline, track progress, and deliver insightsÂ
