What You'll Do

The Salesforce Lead Quality Assurance Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and integrity of Strive Health’s Salesforce ecosystem. This role owns the end-to-end QA strategy for Salesforce, ensuring reliability, performance, data integrity, and user trust. This role will partner closely with Salesforce and Engineering resources, Digital Product Managers, and Clinical Operations to proactively identify risk, establish quality standards, and ensure solutions meet business requirements while scaling safely in a regulated healthcare environment. You will define and execute testing strategies that support Strive’s Kidney Hero workflows, patient engagement models, and care coordination processes helping us to deliver with confidence. 

The Day to Day  

Testing Strategy & Execution 

  • Define and execute comprehensive test strategies, plans, and cases for Salesforce features, enhancements, and bug fixes. 
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across Salesforce and integrated systems ensuring workflows function accurately across edge cases, negative scenarios, and failures. 
  • Validate complex workflows built using Flows, Apex, LWCs, OmniStudio, and third-party integrations. 

Platform Quality & Reliability 

  • Partner with architects, developers, and admins to identify risks early, troubleshoot issues, validate fixes, and prevent regressions and defects from reaching production. 
  • Validate data integrity, permissions, sharing rules, and security models to ensure compliance with healthcare and privacy requirements. 
  • Test system behavior under real-world scenarios, including high-volume and multi-step workflows. 

Cross Functional Collaboration 

  • Collaborate closely with Product, Clinical Operations, and Engineering to understand requirements and translate them into detailed and reusable test cases. 
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, release readiness activities and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders. 
  • Serve as a quality advocate across teams, ensuring that usability, accuracy, and reliability are considered in all builds. 

Defect Management & Continuous Improvement 

  • Document, prioritize, and track defects using Jira or similar tools. Contribute documentation to current and future state using Confluence. 
  • Identify recurring quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend systemic improvements. 
  • Define and drive test automation strategy and tooling as QA matures. Own defining and improving QA standards, documentation, and repeatable test processes. 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent. 
  • 9+ years combined related education, experience, or certifications. 
  • 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience (QA, Admin, Developer, or similar roles). 
  • 3+ years experience leading QA efforts across complex Salesforce implementations or multiple workstreams. 
  • 3+ years understanding of Salesforce architecture, data models, and declarative automation. 
  • 3+ years experience testing Flows, Apex-driven logic, integrations, and complex workflows. 
  • Ability to travel and be onsite to meet business needs. Occasional business travel may be required for opportunities to connect with stakeholders, facilitate team and business priorities/opportunities, and attend Strive sponsored team events. 
  • Internet Connectivity - Min Speeds: 3.8Mbps/3.0Mbps (up/down): Latency <60 ms. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience with Salesforce Health Cloud and healthcare data models (EHR/FHIR, patient/encounter data). 
  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining automated test suites for Salesforce workflows and integrations using automation tools (e.g., Provar, Selenium, Playwright). 
  • Familiarity with API testing and data validation across integrated systems. 
  • Salesforce certifications (Admin, Advanced Admin, Platform App Builder, UX Designer or similar).

Annual Base Salary Range: $108,500 - $136,000
