Job Title
Commercial Analytics & Operations – Sales Force Effectiveness
Experience
15+ years (Pharma / Life Sciences preferred)
Role Summary
We are looking for a Commercial Analytics & Operations professional with strong experience in Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE), multi-source data analytics and a consulting-oriented mindset. The role requires translating complex commercial data into actionable insights, drive go-to-market (GTM) strategies, executive-ready presentations, and clear points of view (POVs) for pharma leadership teams.
 
Key Responsibilities
Sales Force Effectiveness (Core)
• Lead SFE analytics including:
o Targeting & segmentation
o Territory alignment & workload optimization
o Call planning, reach & frequency analysis
o Field force productivity and KPI frameworks
• Define and track performance metrics for MRs, FLMs, and SLMs
• Support incentive design, goal setting, and performance benchmarking
Data & Analytics
• Work with diverse commercial data sources including:
o CRM systems (Salesforce, Veeva CRM or other)
o Sales data (IQVIA / internal sales)
o Activity & call data
o Digital engagement data (email, events, campaigns)
o Master Data (HCP, Brick, Territory)
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and insight generation
• Partner with tech and data engineering teams on data pipelines and dashboards
Consulting & Stakeholder Management
• Act as a trusted analytics advisor to business stakeholders
• Translate business problems into analytical frameworks and solutions
• Lead client / internal discussions, workshops, and requirement discovery sessions
• Provide strategic recommendations backed by data and industry benchmarks
POVs, Storytelling & Presentations
• Build strong POVs on topics such as:
o Field force productivity improvement
o Omnichannel engagement effectiveness
o CRM and SFE maturity models
o Analytics and data modernization
• Create executive-ready presentations (PPT) with clear storytelling
• Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership and clients
Operations & Governance
• Support commercial operations planning and review cycles
• Establish analytics governance, standard definitions, and best practices
• Ensure consistency and scalability of analytics solutions across brands and markets
 
Required Skills & Experience
Must Have
• 8+ years of experience in Pharma Commercial Analytics / Operations
• Strong hands-on experience in Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE)
• Experience working with Salesforce / Veeva CRM
• Exposure to multiple pharma data sources and commercial KPIs
• Strong consulting and problem-solving mindset
• Excellent presentation and storytelling skills
• Ability to build and articulate clear, data-backed POVs
Good to Have
• Experience in omnichannel analytics and digital engagement measurement
• Exposure to forecasting, MMM, or advanced analytics
• Experience working with global or multi-country pharma teams
• Familiarity with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy)

• Ability to work in ambiguity and drive structured outcomes
• Business-first thinking with strong analytical rigor
• Comfortable working with senior leadership and client-facing roles
