The purpose of this role is to work with the business and associated teams to craft new solutions using Adobe Campaign, Redpoint or Unica. This role serves as a subject matter expert on campaigns and campaign platforms, and provides guidance and oversight to other campaign resources. This role is able to provide direction and guidance on integration of marketing technologies and tools.

Job Description:

Are you an expert in Adobe Journey Optimizer? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!  

As a Power User with Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), you'll be at the forefront of designing, building, and optimizing real-time customer journeys. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams about marketing strategy, data, and creativity to deliver seamless, personalized experiences across multiple channels. As a functional specialist and mentor, you'll bridge the gap between strategy and execution, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and accelerating AJO adoption across the organization.  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Design and build complex, multi-step customer journeys using Adobe Journey Optimizer with a clear multi-brand structure and organization.  

  • Configure target audiences, segments, and triggers to enable real-time personalization within AJO.  

  • Execute end-to-end campaign setup across email, SMS, push notifications, and other channels integrated with AJO.  

  • Collaborate with data teams to ensure data accuracy and proper audience activation from Adobe Experience Platform (AEP).  

  • Continuously optimize journey performance through A/B testing, segmentation analysis, and performance insights.  

  • Create and maintain reusable journey templates, configuration guides, and best practice documentation for multiple brands.  

  • Provide hands-on mentorship and on-the-job coaching to marketing operations and campaign management team members.  

  • Troubleshoot journey issues, answer functional questions, and document solutions for team knowledge retention.  

  • Stay up to date with Adobe Journey Optimizer features, updates, and customer experience management (CXM) best practices.  

Skills and Experience 

  • Deep expertise in marketing automation and customer journey orchestration.  

  • 1+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Journey Optimizer.  

  • Strong understanding of audience segmentation, journey design, and multi-channel campaign execution.  

  • Proficiency in AJO interface, journey mapping, decision logic, and personalization configuration.  

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Experience Platform and real-time data activation.  

  • Experience with email, SMS, and digital marketing channels.  

  • Excellent communication and mentoring skills—able to explain complex concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.  

  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Slack.  

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.  

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Adobe Certified Associate – Adobe Journey Optimizer or similar Adobe marketing certification.  

  • Experience managing multi-brand or multi-product marketing environments.  

  • Background in marketing operations, campaign management, or digital marketing.  

  • Experience working in a CXM agency or consulting environment.
