The Position
Roche Pharma is looking for a Product Owner with strong expertise in digital analytics, web measurement and marketing technology to join our international Web Intelligence team. You will own and prioritize the product backlog for capabilities that enable Roche teams to measure, understand and optimize our external digital experiences across global, regional and local websites.
Our core technology ecosystem includes Adobe Analytics, Adobe Experience Platform Data Collection (Adobe Launch) and Adobe Target, alongside consent management, reporting, SEO/GEO and the broader Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem.
You do not need to be the engineer implementing every tag or the analyst building every dashboard. However, you need enough hands-on digital analytics and MarTech expertise to challenge requirements, understand implementation implications, make informed prioritization decisions and work credibly with analytics engineers, analysts, personalization specialists and web engineering teams.
You will operate within an international SAFe Agile Release Train, connecting Pharma and Diagnostics stakeholder needs with a shared analytics and optimization backlog.
Your Responsibilities
Analytics Product Ownership & Backlog
Own and prioritize the digital analytics and personalization backlog, translating business questions into clear epics and KPIs.
Balance stakeholder value with technical dependencies and compliance in a transparent prioritization process.
Lead contributions to SAFe Agile ceremonies, including PI Planning and backlog refinement, ensuring adherence to Definition of Done.
Digital Analytics & Measurement
You will provide product leadership across capabilities including:
Adobe Analytics
Adobe Experience Platform Data Collection / Adobe Launch
Web and digital measurement frameworks
Tagging specifications and data-layer requirements
Analytics implementation and QA
Report suites and analytics governance
KPI and measurement frameworks
Dashboards and reporting
Consent-aware measurement and privacy requirements
Analytics incident management and tracking-quality improvements
You should be comfortable discussing topics such as events, dimensions, conversion metrics, attribution, data layers, tagging architecture, consent dependencies and analytics QA with technical specialists.
You are not expected to personally implement every solution, but you should understand these concepts sufficiently to make product decisions and identify when requirements or implementations may compromise measurement quality.
Experimentation & Personalization
Partner with targeting and personalization specialists to prioritize and deliver capabilities using Adobe Target. Support use cases involving Experimentation and A/B testing, Audience segmentation, Personalization, Targeting requirements, Experiment measurement and success criteria, Integration between analytics and personalization capabilities. Ensure experimentation starts with a clear hypothesis, measurable outcomes and reliable analytics.
Insights & Decision Enablement
Work closely with the Analytics & Insights Lead and reporting specialists to ensure that measurement ultimately supports decisions rather than simply producing data. Partner with stakeholders to identify which questions matter, what should be measured and which analytics capabilities should be prioritized.
Analytics Governance & Quality
Help establish scalable standards across Roche's international web ecosystem, including:
Consistent tagging & measurement approaches
Analytics naming conventions
Reusable measurement patterns
Data and implementation quality
QA and release validation
Documentation and traceability
Privacy and consent requirements
GDPR and applicable Roche standards
Sustainable support and operational processes
Work with analytics engineers, web engineers, architects and platform teams to identify dependencies and ensure analytics requirements are considered early in the development lifecycle rather than after websites have launched.
Stakeholder & Cross-Team Leadership
Act as a key interface between Pharma and Diagnostics Global, Regional and Country marketing teams, Analytics & Insights specialists, Targeting & Personalization specialists, SEO/GEO specialists, Web engineering teams, Product Managers and Product Owners, Architects and platform teams, Support teams, External partners and vendors. Turn diverse stakeholder requests into one transparent, prioritized analytics backlog. Communicate trade-offs clearly and help stakeholders understand not only what is being prioritized, but why.
Who You Are
We are specifically looking for candidates with a digital analytics/ MarTech background, rather than general web product ownership alone. You should bring:
Experience: 5+ years in digital analytics or MarTech leadership roles, specifically as a Product Owner/Manager or Analytics Lead within Agile/SAFe environments.
Technical Skills: Mastery of Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch, and tagging implementations; strong knowledge of data layers, analytics QA, Adobe Target, and privacy/consent requirements, SEO and emerging GEO practices, Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem, Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA)
